PARENTS TEACHER MEETING
Parent-Teacher meetings are a great way for parents and teachers to share insights and information
about the child for his holistic development. The active involvement of parents and their interest in the
child’s life holds significant importance. The positive communication between parents and teachers can
bring a massive change in students’ academic performance. The natural and holistic changes in
students’ academic as well as in their overall well being demand the involvement of all three: parents,
students and teachers.
For this face-to-face communication of parents and teachers, we at Preston International
School organized a PTM on Saturday, 20th August’ 2022.
Homeroom Teachers along with our team of subject teachers were there to effectively
communicate the progress and action plans for a child’s learning enhancement which can
play a vital role in a student’s learning process.
At PTMs parents also get a chance to interact with parents and teachers from other students
and can exchange their experience of parenting. Parent teacher meeting helps parents about
the activities and academic progress of the child evaluated through regular assessments,
assignments and observation.

Above all else, remember to keep things in perspective. Teachers are highly trained in their
fields and want your child to succeed. A truly successful partnership between parents and
teachers requires constant communication and a willingness to collaborate.
