Mango Day Celebration...

To celebrate and relish the taste of the most favourite fruit, mango, children at Preston International School celebrated Mango Day.
Students were dressed up in yellow dresses, the color of mango.
They also wore beautiful paper cut-outs of mango around their necks.
They enjoyed mango slices and mango drinks. Children also danced on mango songs on the occasion.
Students recite poems, Playing games....
Children of classes playgroup, Nursery and prep wore beautiful handmade crown of mango and Teachers used handmade puppets of mango to highlight the day...
Children had pinned up the mango-shaped crowns to honor the cause and were excited to make it memorable for themselves.
The day started with a general conversation about the king of fruits- Mango, followed by rhymes and singing session
which the kids enjoyed thoroughly.
Mango is the king of fruit which is loved by one and all. It is a very juicy, pulpy and luscious fruit.
Ripe mangoes can either be consumed raw or in the form of salad, juice, jams, milkshake or pickles.
Mango is a rich source of various vitamins and minerals.
